NOTICE OF INTENTION TO MAKE AND LEVY RATES. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to and in exercise of the powers conferred on it by “The Counties’ Act, 1920” and “The Rating Act, 1925” and amendments, and by nil other powers in that behalf enabling it, the Horowhenua County Council intends, at a meeting of the Council. to be held at the Council Chambers, Levin, on the 13th day of September 1930, to make and levy the following rates for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1930 and ending on the 31st day of March, 1931: GENERAL RATES. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 120 of “The Counties’ Act, 1920” on the Capital Value of all rateable pro- ' perty in each Riding of the County as follows: In the Tokomaru Riding a General Rate of 5/Bd. in the pound. In the Wdrokino Riding a General Rate of. 27/32d. in the pound. In the' Otaki Riding a General Rate of 3/4d. in the pound. In the Te Hpro Riding a General Rate of 7/Bd. in the pound.
