DESPITE EXTREME PRECAUTIONS

Dra. William Royal Stokes and Har>ty Anderson, officials of the Hygienic Laboratory of the United States Public Health Service, who handled, the parrots affected with psittacosis, have ■died from fever. Both took extreme precautions during their experiments. Nevertheless they caught the malady ;and became desperately ill. Nine days following the first exposure, Dr. Anderson died.
