I A provisional trainers’ license has been granted to L. G. Morris, who is to take on F. Chief Ruler, with 48 wins and 04 placings, is at the head of the winning sires list, his progeny having won £14,535 this season. Hunting Song, Paladin, Paper Money, Day Comet, Lucullus and Kilbroney 'follow in that order. The stock of these sires have won over £7OOO, but all are under £BOOO. 11. Gray and K. On the face of her Wellington performances Bright Glow will be much enquired for when the Taranaki Cup comes up for decision next week. There is likely to be a good field, but as she is now at her best, Bright Glow should win it. On a wet track, however, Corinax will be a troublesome one.
