LEVIN DEFEAT FOXTON,
On Saturday afternoon the men’s team of the Levin Golf Club visited jFoxton, where they met a local team on the Herrington Golf Links. The weather was fine, but a. cold wind was blowing. An enjoyable time was spent on the links, however, Levin winning the match by two holes after intcresting play. The scores were as follows, 'Poxton players being mentioned first: — M." B. Bergin beat K. E. Adams; J. Newton jar. halved with I). P. Todd; C. M. Ile'wett halved with J. D. Brown; -A. I’. Easton lost to W. Bull; D. R. Ogilvy lost, to E. Phillips; F. A. Mason lost to ’V. Perev; .T- Newton snr. lost to W, Smaill; W. H. Walton beat F. Dav.es.
