RETURNING TO LONDON. deceived Friday 7..10 p.m. BERLIN, Sept. 6. roninmndor Marv Booth is retiring from the leadership of the Salvation Army in Germany. She will he succeeded by Commander Friedrich, a Gorman, who is head of the Salvation Army in (V.echo-Slovakia. Commander Mary Booth is returning to London and will place herself at the disposal of headquarters. She says she may resign trom the Army altogether. She is prepared to work under any General, whether he be Gorman, English or Japanese, she says, but the committee form of administration is totally unsuitable for the Salvation Army. “Once meddle with the military form and you inflict a mortal blow to the whole organisation.” Whatever happens she will definitely decline to work under a committee.
