BUDDING AVIATORS
TEN MAKE NOVICE FLIGHTS WITH INSTRUCTOR.
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, This Day.
Though Gisborne is without a permanent air-field, arrangements have been made with the Hawke’s Bay Aero Club to give flying instruction to local enthusiasts, and the first flights were made to-day from the Makaraka Racecourse, Captain White (Hastings) being in the instructor’s seat.
Ten aspirants for licenses took their preliminary course of instruction today.
