TEN MAKE NOVICE FLIGHTS WITH INSTRUCTOR.

Though Gisborne is without a permanent air-field, arrangements have been made with the Hawke’s Bay Aero Club to give flying instruction to local enthusiasts, and the first flights were made to-day from the Makaraka Racecourse, Captain White (Hastings) being in the instructor’s seat.

Ten aspirants for licenses took their preliminary course of instruction today.
