M. Dan dura nd, speaking in the Senate, announced that Canada would adhere to the optional clause of the Hague convention (recognising the compulsory jurisdiction of the Permanent Court of International Justice). During the present Assembly Canada is prepared to accept the compulsory jurisdiction of the Permanent Court in justicable disputes.
