EXPERT EXAMINATION TO BE MADE AT WAIPORI. (By Tcleg.'? "h—Press Association. ) ' DUNEDIN, This Day. ■ On Saturday the staff of the electric power and light department at Wnipori reported an earth imminent en the site of the pipe lines, apparently due to the continued wet weather and to the recent, snowstorm. Five pipes show a movement of three inches at the slip joints. The latest reports indicate that the movement is ceasing. A strict watch is being kept, and it is hoped that the situation will be met without interfering with the supply, of power. Arrangements have been made for a complete geological examination of the localitv bv Dr. Marshall, of the Public Works' Department. Dr. Marshall left Wellington last night, and will begin his examination immediately.
