The vacant first assistant-shin at the; Levin District High School (primary department) caused by removal of Mr McDonald to Wellington, has been filled by the appointment of Mr 11. J. Jones, j who has been oh' the staff for nearly* j fourteen years. ;
Mr J. Marsh, who has boon first-as-sistant in the secondary departm'enr. -• ’i at the* Lovin District High School -since j 1922, lias received the appointnniofc of 1 headmaster of the Pahiatua District < High School. He leaves to take up his _ new duties after the August holidays.
