Mrs. Mary Dodunski (53), driver of the car, an& wife of Mr. Joseph Doduuski, of York road, killed. Agnes Dodunski, daughter of the deceased, scalp injuries, fractured pelvis, and internal injuries. The condition of both the injured is critical.

Mrs. Dodunski was killed outright. Miss Dodunski was sitting in the front seat on the side struck by the engine, as also was the child, who was in the back seat. Prior to the accident the oar had been proceeding up Mountain toad from .Stratford parallel with the railway line. Just south of the York road intersection the road dips and a view of the lino is difficult to obtain. Mrs. Dodunski evidently did not see the train approaching behind, and drove around the corner on to the crossing. The train was not a scheduled one, and this might account for the fact that a better lookout was not maintained.
