With the prospect-of entries- that will exceed those received in previous years, the Ilorowhonua A. and P. Association’s 23rd annual 'Show should make history. The stewards are working as one man, and no effort will be neglected that will make this hxturedo seizing of the widest popularity,. The pick of the stock from this and various other districts will bo seen in the cattle! horses, sheep and pig sections, and the Dog Show is bound to be an exhibition in itself. .:Ma*y competitions will add both to the instructive and recreational value of the two days, and there will be no room for complaint as to lack of variety. Besides the well-knjown list of iring events, source of keen interest will be found ,jn the steer-riding contests arranged for the two days, the sheepdog trials, and the motor-cyclo - race for local amateurs. Three guessing competitions will be held,- the subjects being one fat bullock, one sheep,' and a pen of three sheep. .. Entries for the Dog Show dose on. Saturday, at 5 p.m., with the secretary..
