The “Daily Express” states that ia the event of the death of General Bram %ell Booth, the secret envelope, nominating the successor,* cannot be opened ’till 'the high council meets. General Booth’s family are anxious to emphasise that they in no way impute nnkindness and distrust to those responsible for summoning the council. They recognise tfi<* conveners have given.their lives to the'cause and solely. desire the welfare of the Salvation Army.
