LOAN FOE DEEPENING THE KOPUROA STREAM, £IOOO. is hereby given that the Buckley Drainage Board proposes for the purpose of deepening the Koputaroa Stream and grading the bed of the stream from the Railway Bridge to the junction of the stream with the Manawatu River to raise a special loan of £IOOO-at a rate of interest not exceeding six per cent, per annum with a sinking fund of not less than two pounds ten shillings per cent, per annum. That the Board doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the repayment of the said loan and the interest, sinking fund and other charges thereon the special differential rates on the rateable value on the basis of the capital value of all rateable property in the ' subdivisional classification of the Koputaroa sub-division in the Buckley Drainage District as follows: — On lands classified “A” a special rate of of a penny in Die pound sterling. On lands classified “B” a special rate of § of a penny in the pound sterling. On lauds classified “ C ’ ’ a special-rate of i of a penny in the pound sterling. Such rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan,, and to be made and levied by resolution of the Board to be passed after the said special loan has been agreed to by the ratepayers. The whole Of the loan is to be repaid at the expiry of 23 years from tho date of raising the same. - Dated at Shannon this 24th day of September, 1928. ~ JOHN T.
