OBITUARY.
MRS: HERBERT FREEMAN, AGED 69 YEARS. ' The death occurred on Sunday afternoon at about 3 p.m. of Mrs. Freeman, wife of Mr. Herbert Freeman, of Otaki, The deceased, who had been a resident of Otaki for many years, was born in Wellington nearly 70 years ago, and in her early days lived there, but' later moved to Otaki, where she resided for nearly forty years. The late Mrs. Freeman made' many friends by her quiet and unassuming nature, and was beloved by all. She was a lover of horticulture, but for some months past did not enjoy good health. Deceased leaves a husband and grown-up family •to mourn their loss, the sons being-. Percy, Arthur, Leslie (Otaki), Gordon (Shannon), Harold (Hawera),: while., Mrs. Simmonds (Otaki), is a daughter. Mesdames J. Wilson and Bills (Otaki) • and Tilley (Paekakariki), are sisters. The late Mrs. Freeman celebrated her golden wedding about two years ago. The funeral will take place at Otaki on Wednesday,; leaving her son's # (Arthur) residence at 2 p.m.
