RED CROSS CALL FOR THREE MILLION DOLLARS HOOVER HELPING. Received Sunday, 7 p.m. NEW YORK, Sept. 23. A message from West Palm Beach states that Governor Martin estimates Florida's total deaths as a result of the hurricane at 1500, following an insepction of the devastated area. A further message from West Palm Beach says British medical representatives among the hurricane relief groups, state they know definitely of 1385 dead. Some doctors place the death roll as high as 2500. Tho Red Cross has announced that it must have contributed to the extent of 3,000,000 dollars to aid relief. Mr. Hoover is supervising the emergency rehabilitation.
