A legal decision of considerable importance to dairy companies and farmers was given by Mr Justice Ostler yesterday, in the case of C; V. Lonsdale against the Midhurst Dairy Co., wherein the plaintiff claimed £4i7 damages for of a stream with factory washings and casein whey. His Honour found for the plaintiff, but reserved the question of damages or of an injunction to enable the parties to arrange these matters amicably.
