The Savoy Octet, a very popular combination at IYA, is billed for this evening. Also on the same programme will be Mr. J. F. Montague. ' i I Band concert at 2YA this evening. Contributing vocalists will be the Warblers Male Quartet in a well selected programme. Elocutionary items will be given by Mr. A. Stanley Warwick and Mr. Johannes Anderson will give another talk on bird life. There will bo no doubt about the popularity of this evening’s concert at 3YA, tho programme for which will consist of plantation melodies. It will be very entertaining to have a whole evening devoted to the melodics which were sung by the negroes Of the Southern States of America. There are songs like “My Old Kentucky Homo,’’ others are lullabies, then there are songs of religious fervour, and others of a strong humorous nature. Among the lastnamed will bo the old favourite, 4 lue Gamptown Races.’’ Silent day' at 4YA.
