WHEN THE HOOTER WILL NOT STOP
Few things are more alarming than the sudden and continued soundings of an electric hooter —entirely of its own volition apparently, but duo, of course, to a closed circuit at some points other than the switch. Efforts —generally frantic—to stop the noise, are often directed to the push button, but the best plan is to gain access to the battery or the horn itself and disconnect one of the leads. The fault in ' the circuit can then be traced; it may be in the push button itself or may be due to the twin cable which has frayed.
