SIR GEORGE FRAMPTON DEAD.

LONDON, May 21. Obituary. —Sir George Prampton; aged (58.

The deceased was a noted sculptor, and member of the Royal Academy, and he held many honours from foreign countries. 'Among the piemorials which he executed were statues of Queen Victoria for Calcutta, Southport, St. Helcds, Newcastle-on-Tyne, Winnipeg, and Leeds. He carried out many schemes of rural decoration on public buildings in the Old Country, did statues of Queen Mary for the Victoria Memorial Hall, Calcutta, and Government House, Delhi, and portrait busts of King George V. aad Queen Mary for the'Guildhall, and designed and executed works in ivory, silver, enamels and other mediums, among these productions being the Coronation medal. !
