A prediction that New Zealand will be a great' cricketing country was made this morning by jMr Dan Reese, chairman of the Cricket Council, when heading a representative deputation to congratulate Mr Sidey on the passing of the Summertime Bill. Cricket, football, athletics, tennis, racing and commercial travellers were represented. Mr Sidey said there were possible difficulties, but if the system were only given a fair trial by the farmers, the' difficulties would be removed for all time, and would mean a hew era for cricket in New Zealand.
