NECESSITY TO AMEND DAWS. WELLINGTON, Last Night. In the Legislative Council, Sir Thomas MacKenzie gave notice to move that in view of the great risks pedestrians are constantly exposed to go through, the reckless driving of motor vehicles, together with the alarming increase in fatalities, the Council is of opinion that laws dealing with such matters, require amendment in order that reasonable protection may be provided for people.
