NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting oi‘ the Horowhenua County Council held on Saturday, the 11th day of June, 1927, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary monthly meeting of the Council to bo held on SATURDAY, the 9th day of July 1927, at 9.30 a.m. at the C?omatil Chambers, Oxford Street, Levin.' SPECIAL ORDER. I'hat in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by Section 17 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926” and all other powers-thereto enabling and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Special Rating District in the County of Horowhenua hereinafter described, testified by . a petition signed by not less than three fourths of the ratepayers of tlie said Rating District the Capital Values of whose properties as appearing on the Valuation Roll of the said. County is collectively greater than the Capital Value of the properties of the ■ratepayers who 'did not ■so -oensent, the Jiorownenua County Counci’ hereby resolves by way. of -Special Order as follows: — That for the purpose of forming and metalling the Waihau Road in the Waahau Road Special Rating District hereinafter described, the Horowhenjua County (Council thereby authorities -the raising of a loan of £450 at 54 ;per centum for 36£ years, and declares ’that the cost of raising the loan (but not the fi:st year’s interest- on the Joan) shall be paid out .of the monies so raised.
