Commencing on January <th, fh Sydney steamer which sails from Wellington or Auckland on the Inday t lowing the despatch of a Vancouver ot San Francisco mail, will reach Sydnej in time to connect with t>e , steamer leaving Adelaide toi London. These mails will reach London torn, (lavs earlier than the next l’* or Vancouver despatch from New Zealand. Correspondence for this route must be specially addressed “'via Austiaha. \ mails close daily. 7.30 a.m. —Wellington, OtaKi, Manakau Ohau and Weiaroa. 10.30 a.m.— North, as well as Foxtou and Weraioa. 1.30 p.m. —Wellington and Palmerston North. 4.20 p.m. —South and-Weraroa. 7,50 p.m. —Palmerston Wellington and Foxton.
