HOW THE POWER SUPPLY IS GROWING. • An interesting comparative table shewing The progress made in the connoctcdload and the use of electrical appliances in the Horowhenua Power Board's district was presented to the Board by its engineer (Mr,. J. A. Smith) on Tuesday. This showed a steadily increasing growth in the different services, the figures being as under: —

The Chairman (Mr. G. A. Monk) stated that consumers were being added both to the existing mains and by way of extensions in Rahui road and Manakau South road. The Engineer's report showed how steadily the load had been built up until now it had arrived at a stage where it was wholly satisfactory to the staff, the Board, and the consumers themselves.
