PEOPLE'S PICTURES

‘ ‘REVEILLE ’ ’—WEDNESDAY NIGHT. “Reveille,” the first true screen epic of the Great War, written and produced by George Pearson, and in which Betty Balfour and Stewart Rome are featured, will be screened at the People’s Pictures on Wednesday night only. It is a series of truc-to-life pictures of the war and of the problems after the Avar. It is the story of many of the real people pictured in the various theatres of the Armageddon, the humorists the pessimists, the optimists, of the Army are all depicted. These and many other folk have their counterpart in and around every city arid village. “Reveille” has reminiscences and characters that Avill create a great deal of laughter, and the picture Avill live long in the memories of those privileged to see it. Splendid supports including a gazette, scenic and comic, and selected music are also included in the programme.
