CLOTHING RIFLED IN PALMERSTON NORTH. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Jan. 4. Air A. McNicol, of Dannevirke, who is visiting here for the Ideal bowling tournament, had a substantial sum stolen from his clothes in a local hotel at an early hour this morning. Mr McNicol heard some person moving about in the room at two o ’clock, but thought it was the night porter. It was later that he discovered his loss.
