TO-NIGHT. “LOVEY MARY.” Again this evening at the Ho Luxe Theatre will Ire ..presented au daptation by the author of “Mrs Wiggs of the Cabbage Patch, ” of one of her favourite novels, “Lovey Mary.” This book had a true to life human story and with character that one meets every day in real life.and the producers have, faithfully adhered tc the book. The Cindere'Ui of the family is called “Ugly,” but other folk who know her value call her “Lovey Mary. ” A story of the Kentucky mountains and of the rough yet homely folks who live there and featuring Bessie Love and William Hames. A gazette, scenic and New Zealand views, and music by the He Luxe Symphony Orchestra complete the programme. WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY". “PETER PAN”. AND “INFATUATION.” One of the Christmas attractions of the He Luxe Theatre will be the presentation of that wonderful funny extravaganza written by Sir James Barrie arid produced by Paramount as a children’s pantomime picture “Peter Pan” or the boy who wouldn’t grow up, a fascinating play which has attracted crowded audiences wherever it has been shown, and is particularly suitable for children. Matinee performances will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. “Peter Pan” as well as “Infatuation,” a romantic story set in Egypt’s languorous clime and featuring Corinne Griffiths and Percy Marmont will be screened on Wednesday and Thursday night. A good comic, a gazette, scenic, and on Wednesday night music by the He Luxe Augmented Orchestra or five talented musicians will- complete a wonderful night’s amusement.
