SUICIDE BY SHOOTING
AUCKLAND, Last Night. At the inquest concerning the death of Charles Robert Hewett, aged 63. whose body was found in an old gum Held near Milford on December 2, evidence was given that deceased had been, missing since October 2. He had £2OO in bank notes and a portmanteau when he left home, but neither could be found. The body was fully clothed, and there was a shotgun beneath, it. The Coroner returned a verdict of suicide by shooting.
