DE LUXE THEATRE.
TO-NIGHT. GRAND DOUBLE PROGRAMME. The opportunity of seeing a double programme with two special features at the Do Luxe was responsible for a big' house at that popular theatre last night. “Tile Spaniard,” the first special, gives Ricardo Cortez, the Sheik of 1925, the greatest, chance of his career in the role of a nobleman turned Toreador, fighting a wonderful light for the love of the maddeningly beautiful but mysterious senorita as played by .Tetta Goudal. The story is an adventure romance .and it has passion, tender romance, a real bull fight, a capture and chase of bandits and above all it has Ricardo Cortez and Jetia Goudal and Noah Beery In the star cast. “Men and Women,” the second special screened features Richard Dix and Claire Adams. It is a modern human story of love and what a man will do for the woman he idolizes. Richard Dix as the husband, .steals the money from the bank to give his wife the luxury she desired. Retribution follows and the wonderful cast of artists move through the story in a convincing manner and gives the audience plenty of thrills and emotional acting in this tense domestic drama. A good comedy, scenic, and gazette, supported tlie star features.
