A PROMINENT BOWLER.
OTHER VICTIM STILL UNCONSCIOUS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, March 26. The victims of the Anzac Avenue accident were .returning from a bowling tournament between the retail and wholesale drapery firms of the province, held, on the Auckland Club’s green. Mr Dickinson was still unconscious this morning, but Mr Jackson is progressing well. Mr Wilson, who was killed, was a well-known resident. of Hamilton, aged 54, son of the late Adam Wilson, of the firm of Wilson, Williams, and McCullagh, drapers, of Auckland. In the early days he wa s a prominent athlete and attained some success as a runner. Later he was connected with the firm of Adair and Co., Napier. He entered into business as a mercer at Hamilton twenty years ago and frequently represented the Hamilton Bowling Club at Provincial and Dominion tournaments. He leaves a widow and three children, the eldest 19 and the youngest 15 years.
