s—:$ — : A STAG i: UOMANCE. Lord Lyveden, the 67 year-old-actor-peer, was married at Camberwell District Registry Ollicc to the music hall artist, Alias Lynda Martell, who in private life is Airs. Ada Springate. Mr. Percy Hutchison, the actormanager, and Air. Frank Lacy, the actor, signed the register, and the other witnesses of the ceremony were Alaster Rupert Springate, the schoolboy son of the bride, and Airs. Billea, a friend. Telling of her meeting with Lord Lyvedcn, the bride said she first saw her husband at a New Year’s parts at a hotel in Capetown. He was travelling with Air. Percy Hutchison’s company in “Brewster’s Millions,” and “The Luck of the Navy,” while Lady Lyveden was appearing at the Empire Music Hall. “Nothing happened at the party to make me feel that our marriage was oven remotely possible,” said Lady Lyveden, “and soon after Lord Lyveden went to Canada, and I returned to England. Then, ten months later, I received a proposal of marriage by post. I accepted, and we were engaged for nearly six months without seeing one another. I did not see him again until throe weeks ago, when ho returned from Canada. “We shall spend the honeymoon at Cheltenham, where I have to go to fulfil an engagement.” Since ISB 2, when he joined the theatrical profession, Lord Lyveden has acted in many parts of the world under the name of Percy Vernon. Lady Lyveden has played principal boy in many pantomime productions.
