(From the Shannon News.) Our representative was informed at Moutoa esterday that the paid has only been working on five days dining the past six weeks. Mr and Mrs S. W. Carter, accompanied by their daughters, Mrs A. Freeman and Miss D. Carter, leave this week on an extended holiday to Australia. Alter viewing the approaches and punt he agreed tlie position was a serious one and that the punt was an antiquated method of dealing with traffic across the river. He also inspected the old bridge site.
