Kawera Hack Steeples .-Mahia 1, MaJin Hoad 2. The only finishers. All started.
Hunters’ Handicap Hurdles.—Gaze 1, Fireblight 2, Akros 3. Scr ; Heather Queen, Sailor King. Won by six lengths in 2.55.
