BRAVE JESS WILLARD. N (Received TJiis Day, 0.30 a.m.) ' - :-" NEW YORK, June 12. Jess Willard, the boxer, i, the outstanding hero of the disastrous floods cajjled yesterday. 'l!iie former champion prevented loss of life at Ranch 101, which was swept by a raging torrent. Willard waded in up to his deck and carried women and children ft> points ol safety. He also rescued trapped livestock, once diving deep into the racing water to cut loose two horses which were entangled.
