WEDDING

A very pretty wedding took place at the Methodist Church, Levin, on Wednesday last, when Evelyn Christina, only daughter of Mr and Mrs H. Darrall, -and Harold George, second son of Mr and Mrs W. G. Price, of Cambridge Street, were married. The Rev. G. Frost officiated. The church was tastefully decorated by The friends of the bride, who was given away by her father. She wore a pretty frock of while crepe-de-chine with an overdress of silk Brasses'net, embroidered with silver heads. She also wore a Honiton lace veil and orange blossoms. and carried a shower bouquet of white roses, lavender sweet peas, asparagus and maidenhair fern, with lovers’ knots of streamers. Mrs Wilson, the maid of honour, wore a pretty frock of cornflower bine, with a straw hat, trimmed with pink spray and ribbon velvet. She carried a pretty bouquet of pink roses, pink sweet peas, asparagus and maidenhair fern with pink satin streamers. The bridesmaids were Miss Gwendoline. Wilson and Miss Vera Price, nieces of the bridegroom, each dressed in cream silk frocks witli lace panels and tulle sashes. They wore dainty wreaths in their hair. -Miss Wilson carried a pretty lavender posy with tiny streamers, and Miss Price a pretty pink posy with tiny streamers. Litlle Iris Wilson was flower girl, and wore a dainty frock of embroidered organdi muslin with pule blue ribbons. Stic carried a silver basket of forget-me-nots and blue ribbons. Each received cobweb pendants, gifts from, the bridegroom. Mr W. A. Price, was best man. The roceplion was held at the residence of the bride’s parents, Cambridge Street, and afterwards the happy couple loft by motor for Napier, the bride travelling in., a light dawn gaehadine cosfume with a pretty hat trimmed with saxe blue. Mr and Mrs Price arc making their home in Levin.
