POSTAL HOLIDAYS.
During, the New Year local post office will observe the imdermemioned hours:— / Saturday, December 31.—Open \as usual, but in addition a delivery of registered and ordinary letters (including postmen’s delivery) will be made over the counter between 7.30 aim 8.30 p.m. Sunday, January I.—Telephone exchange only, open 0 to 10 am. and 5 to 6 p.m. Monuay, January 2.—Telephone exchange only, open ( J to 10 am. and 7 to 8 p.m. Mail arrangements.—Mails usually dispatched on Monday will be closed on Saturday, December 31, at 8.30 p.m. Monday, January 2.—Supplementary mails (except for Ohau, Manakau, Otaki, Weraroa and Ibakara) will be dosed at 8 am. A clearance of posting boxes will be made at 7.30 am. to connect with this mail.
