There, was a full yarding at 3 day’s sa&e. and a fairly good ail-M*-dance considering the wet wei dher. Sheep were again a strong entry in both fats and stores, but wore in e.\ - (cess of requirements. Fats teased off ?as compared with last week', whilst the demand for stores was very' weak. Vendors, however, were willintg to meet the market, and the bulk of the fat classes changed hands; There was 11.0 butchers’ beef among the cattle, and the store and young stock were very little inquired for, the sgles made in this section being at low rates. The entry of dairy stock was much above the usual, the quality ranging ‘from low-conditioned mixed sorts to gt >od early calvers. The latter met hit r competition, the best price of the day being £l4 15s. Poor quality and aged 1 did not find many buyers, and a good number of this class were passed. The better class of cows all livened thje bidding. Among the springing heifers was a -very fine lot of Jevrseys, which, however, did not reach the reserve. The entry of pigs was stmali, but all sold well, the lot being cleared.

Sheep—Fat wethers I.Bs lOd to 19s Id, ■good wethers 13s for light to 15s and 16s'. i'af and forward 9s 9d, fat lambs Ms 7d to 18s lid, fat ewes 15s to tSs, si m e lambs 5s to 5s 9d and 9s 6d. Cattle.—Fat and forward cows £3 10s to £4 2s 6d, vealers 395, store cows 255, 35s to £2.

Dairy Cattle,—Good early oalvers CIV 15s, £l2 and £lO, others £5, £5, £1 IDs and £B, poor quality and late eatvers £2 to £3 10s. springing neiders £6 to £8 ss.

Pip's.—Sows with litters £l2, sows iv pig £3 10s, porkers £3 12s, -£3 14s to* £3 19s.
