ANZAC DAY.
! LOCAL CELEBRATION TOMORROW. The Mayor invites the busiiicsspeople and others to observe to-morrow (Friday), Anzne Day, as a public holiday. A special service will be arranged by the local ministers in the Century Hall in the evening for the purpose of commemorating the allniversary. Hymns, prayers and' addresses will be given and amongst the speakers will be Dr Newman, M.P., of Wellington, wTro lias kindly consented tw visit Levin specially for the evening service. I>r Newman made a trip Home and visited many of Ulie scenes of the late battles and liitt address will lie sure to prove most interesting. Tlio mectiiifi starts at IS p.m. sharp and tlio.se who wish to secure seats should, attend early. [Returned soldiers are especially invited to attend.
