Farmers' Distributing Co., Ltd., report: Potatoes are at the moment ill short supply principally owing to shipping facilities stoppng arrivals, and they are realising high prices. Oats are in fair demand and high prices are being realised. Eggs are in short supply with prices firm. Apples (dessert) are not over plentiful and values remain high. Cooking apples are coming- forward in fair quantities and where tho condition is good prices have been satisfactory. QUOTATIONS : Potatoes, prime £10 10s to £11. Cabbage, choice 8s to 12s sack. Cauliflower, 18s to 12s sack. Carrots, best 3s to 6s sack. Onions, £30 ton. Turnips, white 2s 6d to 5s sack. Lettuce, choice 3s to 8s case. Beetroot, 2s 6d to 5s sack. Spring onions, Sd to lOd bundle. Parsnips, 6s to 8s sack. Max-rows, 3s 6d to 5s sack. Swedes, 3s cwt. Pumpkins, 8s sack. Celery, 5s to 6s dozen. Leeks, 8d to Is bundle. Artichokes, 2d lb. Apples, dessert Ts 6d to 12s full case; cooking- 5s to 7s Gd full case. Pears, cooking 6s full case, dessert 8s fid to 12s 6d half case. Eggs, 2s 2d to 2s 3d dozen, fresh.
