The N.Z. Farmers' Co-opera-tive Distributing Co., Ltd., report :
Owing to the continued wetweather it was somewhat doubtful as to what the result of the harvest would be but now this has somewhat improved lines of newcrops are being offered. Early samples of oats are inclined to be light but high rates are being asked.' It is anticipated that the supply of fowl wheat will be fully equal to our own requirements and should soon be availble. Maize is very firm in value with few lines changing hands. All seed-cleaning plants are now working full time; some good samples are being offered but the prices asked for same are rather high. All pig meals are scarce and higher'rates are being asked for good lines. Poultry is nowgetting somewhat plentiful and late values are hard to obtain.
The demand for eggs is not so keen but prices remain stationary. I'ork is very scarce and as there is good enquiry prices remain firm. Honey is in good demand with little offering.
Vegetables.—Potatoes are com. ing forward freely but the quality is not always good, blight appearing in many instances. Cabbage is plentiful with prices low. Cauliflowers meet with a ready sale. CaiTots of good quality are easily disposed of at satisfactory figures. Lettuce is plentiful but good lines realise fair prices. French beans are plentiful and unless lines are of good quality
they are hard to dispose of. This also applies to beetroot. Parsnips are sdarce with good demand. Tomatoes are not so plentiful and advanced rates are ruling. Good celery is bringing fair prices. The supply Of green pens has fallen off and good quality lines are realising high figures. Rhubarb is plentiful. Fruit.--Grapes are coming forward in satisfactory quantities but good values are being obtained. Peaches are a. little more satisfactory in supply with good rates ruling. Apricots are scarce and consequently values high. Apples are plentiful but good lines bring satisfactory prices.

Tomatoes, 5s to 9s case. Celery, 6s dozen. Green peas, lOd to Is 3d peck. Rhubarb, 2s Gd to 5s doz. bunches. Grapes, Is 3d per lb. Peaches, 5s to 6s per case. Apricots, 4s to 8s case. Apples, dessert 7s Gd to 10s, cooking 4s to Gs case. Pears, cooking Gs case. Raspberries,' 6s to 8s bucket. Plums, 2s fid to 5s case. Eggs, fresh Is Bd.
