Mr Bell will be ac;oinpanied by Mr Field, M.P., member or Otaki, and probably Mrs Bell nd Ill's Field will complete the party. The Minister desires to nee as much of the ak ens possible, including the outlet ind the western shore. We regret to record the death of Mr John Armstrong. late o. Otaki. which jeenrred at Otane, TTawke's Bay, last ruesday. Deceased resided at Otaki for many yearo, being for a considsrible time employed on Qie railway line. He is survived by a wffe and a large family, several ot whom still reside at Otaki. The late Mr Armstrong ivas 66 years of age.—Otaki MaiT.
