Leo, Jan anil Mischel Cherniavsky, the brilliant violinist, pianist, .iiul 'ccllist, ai'o to appear in Levin to-mor-row night. These talented brothers have just maxle' a most suecesful tour in Australia. The press and publki have received them with the greatest of enthusiasm. The Sydney Morning Ilernld of the Gth July, says:—"The event of the evening was Leo, Cheriiiivfsky's brilliant rendering of the first allegro from Tschaikowskv's amazingly difficult "Violin Concerto in T) Major." The player exhibited a •e.sonant and sympathetic tone, fluency in the correct delivery of the chord passages and harmonics and feeling for the music. Jan Cherniavsky, \v'\> played with sentiment two pieces bv Chopin captured the Sydney audience in Liszt's bravura paraphrase on tl.v-
vocal quartette from "Rigoletto," rendered with power and, where needed, with much lightness of touch. Mi'sc'k) Cherniavsky showed purity of tone : ". I expression in Cessar Cuis' "Cantabil.> ' for 'cello and proved adroitly skilful in Popper's tricky, hut piquant, "Arlequin."
