* NEW ZEALAND FARMERS' CO-OPERATIVE DISTRIBUTING CO., LTD. WEEKLY REPORT, Wellington, .January 22. We have no change to report in the potato market, and at the present moment it is difficult to forecast future values. The extent of the ravages of the blight in some districts Is not yet fully known. Onions are scarce, and good lots arriving will find ready sale at high figures. Eggs are steady, and in good demand. We have during the week made fairsized sales of new medium cheese at (j]d per lb ex factory. New chaff is now selling freely, and enquiries for old is slackening. Oats are quiet. Wheat has declined slightly, but no marked reduction is looked for. Pollard from Australia, which is much superior to local, is now reaching us. Pea and barley meals are offering at fair rates. Porkers, especially light weights, are in good demand. Poultry is in fair sale. The Autumn grass seed trade is now commencing, and we expect a brisk demand. Fruit- Apricots, nectarines and peaches are higher, and the demand much better for good lines. Apples and pears are now more plentiful, and lower prices obtaining. Raspberries are daily enquired for. Plums are in fair demand for choice quality. Vegetables.--Cabbage is coming to hand more freely, with lower rates. Good lines of peas and .beans are wanted. Swedes are selling" well. Tomatoes aro higher in value, and larger shipments are recommended. JLeituce and other vegetables all selling at fair summer rates. VEGETABLES.
