The favorite sj. Star, of the South, Capt. Beridall, has nmde another successful trip to&uckiand and hack. She left Napier at midnight on Sunday, 9th August;- with' 34 head fat- cattle, 700 sheep. and 24 passengers.. Experienced light northerly winds and.flne weather as far as the East .Cape, which was rounded at 9 p.m. on -Monday, the 10th inst.; thence to Auckland had thick unsettled weather, attended with rain, and quite a thick-fog in Hauraki Gulf, arriving-in the Tamaki at 6 o’clock on the morning. of Wednesday, the 12th.. .The whole f the live' stock was landed in prime condition.
