COMING EVENTS
Attention is called to Mr. W. Crawford’s public Theosophical lecture, “The Riddle of Life,” to be given in Duff’s Buildings, Queen street, Hastings, on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 7 p.m.
The annual meeting of the Napier Ladies’ Golf Club will be held in St. John’s Hall, Church street, on Friday, November 27, at 2.30 p.m. Members are specially requested to attend in view of the N.Z. ladies’ championship being held at Waiohiki.
A final reminder is given of the rose and sweet pea show to be held in the Puketapu Hall to-morrow afternoon nt 2 p.m. Splendid entries have been received, and a choice selection of blooms will be displayed.
