LORRY CAPSIZES

Sheep Crate Overbalances From Our Own Correspondent. WAIPAWA, Nov. 12. A lorry,, owned by Mr J. 'Williams, Hatuma, carrying a sheep crate loaded with lambs, overturned while negotiating the Memorial Clock corner at Waipawa at 2.30 this afternoon. The driver escaped without injury, and none of the lambs was killed or hurt, although the crate was considerably damaged and the lorry badly bent on one side. The lorry was proceeding down Waverly Cutting, and turning into the main Napier road when the crate began to sway and overbalanced. As it was fastened to the truck, the whole vehicle overturned. The lambs were later trucked at the Waipawa station and railed to the works.
