BOMBER CRASHES

Five Persons Fatally Burned When Tanks Explode FOUR OF CREW KILLED (Received 12, 10.30 a.m.) ROME, Nov. 11. Nine deaths resulted from the crash of a bombing plane in the Lapini mountains. Four of the crew of six were killed instantly. The pilot, Captain Bernini, jumped out before the crash and landed, by means of a parachute, unhurt. The wireless officer, who landed in the plane, was injured. Five villagers were fatally burned and others severely injured when the petrol tanks exploded during rescue work. •
