STATE THEATRE DOUBLE FEATURE PROGRAMME. At the State Theatre, Hastings, today a double-feature programme of outstanding excellence will be screened. “Next Time we Love,” the first feature, is the portrayal of a woman’s emotional life. Margaret Sullivan, star of the Universal production, contributes a performance which adds further proof that she belongs in the front rank of filmdom. Margaret portrays the role of a wife who pursues her stage and screen earner, while her, husband runs down “big news” in foreign countries. Marriage, to his wife, seems to be continually bidding goodbye and waving hello, until her husband’s friend shows that he loves her. “Human Cargo,” the second feature, has Claire Trevor and Brian Donlevy m the leading roles. It is a drama with t new twist.

COSY THEATRE TWO FEATURES TO-DAY. Fay Wray and Ralph Bellamy, popular romantic team, appear in the featured leads in Columbia’s “Roaming Lady,” a madcap adventure tale of the China Seas which will provide the screen entertainment at the CosyTheatre to-day. The film is based on a magazine story, written by Diana Bourbon and Bruce Manning. It tells the exciting story of a spirited debu tante who pursues her - reluctant swain to a bandit camp in China to impress him with the fact that she loves him. After a succession of hairraising escapades the two escape by armoured cat and airplane—only to start again where they left off. The second feature is titled “Big Brown Eyes,”' starring Cary Grant and Joan Bennett. The picture is piled high with hilarious situations and crisp dialogue.

REGENT THEATRE “LIVING DANGEROUSLY” TODAY. “Living Dangerously” is the title of the big dramatic feature to be presented at the Regent to-day. It has been adapted from the play by Reginald Simpson and Frank Gregory, and is said to be far ahead of any British picture yet produced. Look at the cast: Otto Kruger, Leonora.Cofbett, Francis Lister, Aileen Marsoh, Iris Hoey, James Caren and James Godden. “Living Dangerously” is a story of a Harley Street specialist who is falsely accused of unprofessional conduct and crossed off the Medical Register. Kruger went over from Hollywood especiallv for this role while Leonora Corbett who gave such a grand performance in ‘‘Heart’s Desire,” with Richard Tauber, has the leading role.in this new B;I.P. production. Aileen Marson is seen as “the other woman,” while Francis Lister appears as Kruger’s unscrupulous partner. For dramatic appeal nothing like it has been seen before.
