GREENMEADOWS PARTY

The home of Mr and Mrs Banks was a jolly place the other evening, when a party was given in honour of Mr Eric Banks. There was something to attract everyone, games and dancing in one room, and cards in the other. Mrs Fenn and Mr J. W. Hogan won the prizes presented for “500,” Mrs J. W, Hogan and Mr Wright the Monte Carlo, and Miss Freda Robson the tailless donkey competition. At supper a novel idea was the coloured cake lit by sparklers. The stems of these were painted gold.
