OTANE BASKETBALL

From Our Own Correspondent. OTANE, September 17,

The following are the fixtures for the basketball field-day in Otane. The games will consist of two five-minute spells. Further fixtures will be arranged as visiting teams arrive. Afternoon tea will be served at the grounds, and a dance will be held in the evening in the town hall. The fixtures are:

Otane juniors v. Central B reps., 1 p.m.; Otane seniors v, married men and ex. Girls v. School B, 1.30 p.m.; Married Ladies v Te Kura and Otano juniors v. Footballers, 1.45 p.m; High School v. Single Men and St. Hilda’s v. School B, 5 p.m-
